West Vancouver will hold a by-election for the office of one Councillor on Saturday, November 19, 2016. The term for the position will end October 2018, when the next general local election will be held.
The by-election is being held to fill the position formerly held by Michael Lewis, who passed away on August 6 after a short illness. Councillor Lewis was first elected to Council in 2008 and was re-elected in 2011 and 2014.
Eligible voters will be able to cast their ballots at a number of voting places across West Vancouver on November 19 or during advance voting opportunities at West Vancouver Municipal Hall, or vote by mail ballot.
